“Neil Patrick Harris aka Barney Stinson” - Caricature Portrait by Sam Spratt In trimming down my portfolio for my new site, I tossed some of my older favorite pieces because they weren’t up to par on a technical level. I couldn’t stand to see the legendary NPH missing from my artistic arsenal, so I did the possimpible and dropped some serious hours into fixing anatomy, advancing and nuancing the lighting, going into detailed texture work, adding a few elements like the drapes and cigar, and layering in an all around smokey vibe to the portrait.  If you like this illustration, do follow me on tumblr (I follow back almost every person that follows me), or for the latest, I run a mean facebook artist’s page and a musing-filled twitter.
