“Kanye West in Color” - Painting by Sam Spratt Though I’ve done Kanye before, listening to “Watch the Throne” made me want to go gorillas (“I don’t even know what that means” “No one knows what it means but it’s provocative”) with the colors and layering—mixing in a mess of loose and tight brushwork, and some hand-drawn type.
