With The Office ending tonight, I felt it was appropriate to bring back this illustration I did a couple years ago.

With The Office ending tonight, I felt it was appropriate to bring back this illustration I did a couple years ago.

Loose Portrait Painting of Steve Carell aka Michael Scott I’ve been dabbling with this week in honor of his departure tonight from one of my favorite shows, The Office, along with my personal all-time favorite quote from the character. 

Edit: Having now seen the goodbye episode, I’m glad I got a chance to paint this. I had picked the quote from the thousands of hilarious ones his character has yielded over 7 seasons because I felt it so perfectly defined him. Only Michael Scott could butcher Machiavelli so sweetly.
