Though we are running on empty with zero sleep, to everyone who came to Colin Levy and I’s lecture last night… you are just amazing. Thank you. You made the night for us. We hope it was at least a little helpful or informative doing it like this with 2 very different people, and even if it wasn’t, you have facilitated an unbreakable bromance — expect cross-medium collaborative goodness in the future. If we were to unify under one voice, we think it would sound something like this: “and remember… just keep swimming… seriously, fucking keep swimming or you’ll die. There are sharks, guys. Sharks.”
-I will probably be lecturing in a big place and have motivational words to share. I might wear a suit as I lecture.
-I will probably be doing portfolio reviews. I will likely not wear a suit while I give constructive but honest critiques to SCAD students.
-I will probably be sitting down with my legs crossed in front of a large class and telling people how to use facebook, twitter, and tumblr to share artsy stuff with people in an informal/hangout format. Again, chances of suit are slim here.
-I will be available for most any question one might have about art, life, love, and community. The TV show, not the sense of belonging amongst a group of people (obviously).
-I will be visiting all of the places I did unspeakable things at while in college and pausing to do this at each one:
